My bike is in the shop for another week getting that left-side engine cover welded where the starter clutch assemble broke off. I checked the local bike wrecker for a used one, and both examples that he had were broken in the same spot. I have never heard about this problem here on this forum, but it seems a rather bizarre coincidence that the only two savage engines that he had were broken in the same way. (We almost tried to fit the dirt bike 650 cover, but it is a little too different.)
Has anyone heard of this problem before?
